It was raining, I love the rain. Everyone is inside and the forest is empty, everything seems more alive. The sun pokes through the clouds and sends rainbows dancing across the leaves. Water pours down the trees in rivulets as the clouds give way to golden sunshine. There's no one here to see the rainbows fade. Everything is still and quiet, but only for a moment, for this place teems with life

The fresh breeze brings the scent of death, it lingers in the back of my throat and makes me gag as I move forward. I find the carcass... there’s a tent nearby but this seems much too messy to have been a human. I move in closer holding my hand over my mouth, the stench is vile, the phlegm in the back of my throat tastes acrid and bitter. The bones are all broken and the flesh and organs are torn to ribbons. Just to the side of it lies a human skull.

A heartstoppingly short introduction
[info]chaos116
We don't do things because we think others will reward us for them, we do them so that we can reward ourselves. Now i saved the little bastards because each of em has a dollar sign over their heads. And they ain't these $ little black ones either, there big ones, done in green, with the two lines through em, that make the little cha-ching noise in the back of my skull whenever i look in their general direction. Now there is a snag, theres always a snag. It would seem my fee includes transportation, while this would not be a serious issue under normal circumstances theses damn little bastards grow so fast. Not only am i forced to arrange additional transportation every few days, this unfortunately also requires me to kill the drivers lest they ask questions.

I woke up on the fourth day to the sound of one of the drivers screaming, I tried to get up but couldn't as one of the bastards was busy  ripping a hole in my chest... they weren't so little anymore.
